HOW TO USE:
  • River information is updated every 4 hours. If above listed date/time is older than four hours, please click the update link. Once completed, a new page will show. Please use back arrow to return & refresh this page. Please be patient as the update takes about 2 minutes.
  • Clicking on any river below will open a page showing the selected river forecast, history & flood stage status along with the hydrographs.
  • Clicking on any gauge in the map will open the AHPS page (off-site) showing the selected river hydrographs, forecast & additional information.
  • Hovering over any gauge on the map will show the selected river hydrographs via pop-out.
  • You can click, hold & drag the mouse to repopulate the map with the various gauges in the Lower Mississippi River Forecast Region.
  • Using the "+" or "-" icons on the map or simply using your mouse scroll you can zoom the map in or out.

Hovering over the icons in the TREND and FORECAST columns will show the current river trend and it's forecasted trend.

Rising = River Level is Rising or Expected to Rise at xx feet per Hour.
Falling = River Level is Falling or Expected to Fall xx feet per Hour.
Steady = River Level is Steady or Expected to remain Steady.
No Flooding = Normal, No flooding expected
Action Stage = Action Stage (near flood stage)
Minor Flooding = Miner Flooding occurring
Moderate Flooding = Moderate Flooding occurring
Major Flooding = Major Flooding occurring
Obs. Not Current = Observations Are Not Current
